Skin Care Daily Routine

The skin is the largest organ of our body and everyone has a different type of skin. But even if your genetic makeup benefits you, a daily routine to protect and nourish the skin should be adopted.
Everyday and around us there are thousand of agents and factors that can damage our skin. UV rays, long sun exposure, inadequate sleep, poor diet and smoking, to mention some of them.
As a matter of fact we are what we eat, it means that a diet rich in vitamins, preferably based on vegetables, fruits and cereals will contribute to improve our skin appearances, likewise, it is recommended to drink two liters of water a day to keep it moisturized.

As to the products you use it is important to select carefully the soaps you use, those scentless and colorless have less alcohol and other products that could dry or irritate our skin and NEVER use soap to wash your face, it sweeps natural oils and moisturizers without which the delicate skin of the face will show signs of aging or will dry up very soon.
When we are outdoors, either in the summer or the winter, the use of sunscreens is mandatory to protect ourselves from damaging sunlight. Remember that sun overexposure is cumulative throughout our lives and may cause serious diseases like cancer apart from the usual painful sunburned skin, wrinkles and alterations in the texture of the skin.
We have to mention that new sunscreens contain products to protect skin against A and B ultraviolet rays which cause a wide variety of problems. In this regard The American Academy of Dermatology recommends to be cautious and the use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen. If you can not avoid being in the sun you should use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor of 30, even on cloudy days. As to the sunscreen it is known to work safely as long as it is reapplied at least every two hours. If you want your skin looks healthy than you can make a routine to drink water early morning. It is not easy to drink 4 glass of water at first time but try from one glass and increase one glass of water every week. When you make a routine to drink four glass of water in morning than your skin shines like a star.

In spite of the fact that there are different types of skins, the use of cleansers and moisturizers should be a daily routine.
How does a cleanser work? Basically a cleanser removes impurities, make up and dirt and makes possible the absorption of the products you may want to use afterwards.
It is best to use warm water and a soft cleanser free of irritant products like alcohol and detergents.
Apply the cleanser and cover all your face, after 20 seconds splash your face with warm water to rinse off the cleanser, then tap smoothly your face with a towel, finally apply a moisturizer and massage it into your face in circles until it is absorbed.
This routine should be repeated twice a day, in the morning and before going to bed.
