Being able to achieve health improvements in the comfort of your home is a great advantage because we all lead busy lives.  Most of the time don’t have the flexibility to attend gyms, spas and saunas in order to keep healthy and fit. The following reasons make the home sauna beneficial to the mind and body:

•    Cleansing of your body by the sweat induced by the sauna heat gives you a clean and smooth skin.
•      Sweating causes thirst thereby making you to drink lots of water; this cleanses the internals of your body.
•    You tend to lose weight because certain amount of calories is burnt during the cleansing and sweating process.

A sauna is benefit for relieving stress as well and therefore a great asset when you access it in the comfort of your home. By having a home sauna you save a lot of time that gets otherwise wasted.  You get more time to get yourself rejuvenated and refreshed thereby ensuring that you are fit enough for the next days’ hectic schedule.

The major advantage in having a sauna at home is that it can benefit all the members of the family and friends.  sSauna evenings can be organized to allow many friends to relieve their stresses and share the latest gossip/ news at the same time. The number of people that can be accommodated in your home sauna might vary between 2 to 6 people, depending on the size of the sauna. If the space allotted in your home for sauna is large you could accommodate more than 6 people. ) You get considerable enjoyment and benefits by using home saunas; you will realize that whatever effort you have put in terms of time and money is worth it.

People suffering from heart ailments and BP, pregnant women and people taking medications that might cause drowsiness should not take sauna without anybody accompanying them; otherwise it could be dangerous.  In home saunas can also be dangerous for children and therefore they should use it only under supervision and never let to activate it alone.

The door of your home sauna should always open outside so that it can be easily accessed from outside if required; do not provide any lock so that it does not get locked accidentally; provide an alarm for emergency.
